Michener writes as only he can write about the Caribbean, that vast expanse of ocean surrounded by Cuba, Puerto Rico and the extensive small islands smattered across the seascape. If you have not, classic michener means that he takes a very in-depth, well researched area and wraps a novel around it. Three Stars Very interesting development but the last chapter was less believable and very slow to the point of being boring. However I found it helpful to learn about a part of the world I had not previously known much about.
